Nebotičnik
 
ℹ︎ Nebotičnik (Skyscraper). 1931-33. Based of neoclassicism and art deco. One of the most recognizable buildings in Ljubljana, built on the site of a medieval monastery. A 13th century well is hidden under the building. Maybe that's why inside the skyscraper itself looks like a well. A spiral staircase in a cylindrical span permeates the structure throughout its 70-meter height. Until World War II it was the tallest building in the Balkans.
